Gaben Bets on Xbox Series X

Steam's CEO, Gabe Newell, shared his opinion on next-gen consoles. He says the Xbox Series X is simply better than PlayStation 5.

Players claim that Gaben's choice is dictated by the fact that Sony works with Epic Games.

Gabe Newell, the popular owner of Valve Software, took part in a New Zealand morning show called The Project. The CEO was asked by the hosts which of the upcoming consoles, XSX or PS5, is better in his opinion. Newell did not think long, answering that Xbox. The reason for this choice was quite unexpected.

- Why [is Xbox better - editorial note]?

- Because it is.

Newell also stressed that this is closely related to the fact that most of the work in his company is done on PCs, and Microsoft has a much more friendly policy towards PCs.
