Genshin Impact Still Dominates on Smartphones

Genshin Impact remains at the top of the best-earning games within two weeks of its release. The $100 million barrier has been broken.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Genshin Impact is a massive hit.
  2. MiHoYo's game occupies the top of popularity rankings.
  3. In two weeks, the game has already generated $100 million in revenue.

Genshin Impact continues its triumphant march. Within two weeks of its release, the game has brought MiHoYo over $ 100 million in revenue. Most of the money comes from the Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American markets.

Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, who specializes in Asian markets with a focus on China, provided the news. Ahmad has already reported that Genshin Impact enjoys great popularity.

The latest data from the analyst company Sensor Tower indicates that after a week, the title landed in second place on the list of top-earning games available on iOS. App Annie, a mobile analytics website, indicates that Genshin Impact was downloaded on smartphones by 23 million people within a week. And remember, the game is also available on PlayStation 4 and PC, and will also be available next year on Switch.

The title was helped without a doubt by its high production values and the initially warm reception from the community. Although it is worth noting here that there are more and more people criticising the crowd of microtransactions in the game and weak endgame. The new content will be coming to Genshin Impact in November, so then it will be possible to assess whether the developer is actively responding to the comments.
