No Man’s Sky is a great example of how to redeem yourself. After post-launch controversies, constant updates have made players change their minds about the game, but developers did not stop at that. Now it's a meme that Hello Games regularly provides content for free that other studios charge money for. It is no different with its latest expansion called Worlds part 2. It introduces a lot of new features, including purple star systems. However, you can’t access them without Atlantid Drive. We will tell you how to get them.

How to visit purple star systems in NMS, In Stellar Multitudes explained

Purple star systems are an endgame content. What does it mean? The access to them is blocked by the In Stellar Multitudes quest. This mission is not available until later into the game. You have to complete all other main tasks before you will be able to unlock it. If you want more spoilers, we have prepared a separate article to guide you.

Once you unlock In Stellar Multitudes, it will tell you what to do step by step. In the middle of the quest, you will be able to acquire Atlantid Drive, which will allow you to travel to purple star systems. So, be patient. However, keep in mind that if you are a new player or you are a returning fan without an advanced save, you will not be able to start the new content anytime soon. It seems though that the upcoming Titan Expedition will give us at least a glimpse of the new features.
