During a special Google event, we got to know a new bunch of details related to Google's streaming service. We already know how much you will have to pay for the subscription and what games it will offer.
During a special streaming event on YouTube, Google provided new information about Stadia, the gaming streaming service. We learned a lot of details related to the service, which was first announced in March. Stadia will launch in several selected countries in November, this year. During the first months, the service will be available only to people who'll pay for a dedicated PRO subscription, costing USD 9.99 per month. In addition, subscribers will have access to full versions of several selected games, beginning with Destiny 2 collection (all season passes and extras), as well as discounts on the purchase of most of the titles found in the library. In 2020, a free version of the service (limited to 1080p resolution) will also be launched, in which only the purchase of the game will be necessary to play.
At the moment, residents of North America and Western Europe can pre-order a special Founder's Edition to encourage the most dedicated gamers to try the service. The $129.99 set includes a Google Stadia controller, a Google Streaming device (Chromecast), and two three-month PRO subscriptions, one of which can be given to a friend.
In addition to limited special offers and sales, each of the above titles will be available at the same price as on traditional digital distribution platforms such as Steam.
