GTA 5 Remake Mod Available to Download

Eight years after its release, GTA V has received another well-deserved visual overhaul. The new mod improves the game's visuals to the level from the end of last-gen consoles.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • A new visual mod for Grand Theft Auto V is available;
  • GTA V Remake Mod introduces numerous changes to the game's visuals;
  • The mod is available for a fee on the author's profile on Patreon.

Grand Theft Auto V is a game whose roots go back a long way. Eight years have passed since the title appeared on PS3 and Xbox 360. So it's no wonder that the graphics don't look as phenomenal as they did in 2013. Many players attempted to improve them, creating numerous mods across the game's presence on the market. However, most of them represented the category of ReShade mods. This means that they only changed the lighting. Nevertheless, it significantly affected the quality of graphics. Now, however, a mod appeared on the web, introducing much more significant changes.

GTA V Remake Mod is a project created by Nb.Design. As he wrote on his Patreon, he is a fan of Rockstar's game and a 3D graphics designer. So he decided to turn his hobby and work into a mod that will significantly improve the visuals in GTA V. The result is not only a change of lighting, but also more direct corrections. First of all, he changed many textures, so that they fit modern standards. H designed some of them himself, others were taken from Red Dead Redemption 2.

The mod also adds new plants, stones and other small assets to make the game world more realistic overall. Improvements have also been made to the day and night cycle, weather effects, and city traffic. The modification also contains many smaller new effects and changes that affect the look of the game. Unfortunately it is not available for free. Currently, you can download it only after buying access on Patreon. The minimum payment is $2 plus tax.
