Wednesday's Dying Light 2 Presentation Without Release Date

We have bad news for those who were hoping for an imminent reveal of Dying Light 2's release date. This week, the developers will announce new details, but these won't include the game's release date.

A few days ago, Techland announced that it would reveal new information on the progress of Dying Light 2 on March 17. Unfortunately, we already know that the release date will not be among this information.

This was informed by the moderator of the game's official Discord channel. He explained that although we won't get to know the game's release date, we can expect something more than token information about the fact that work is progressing at a good pace. So we hope that Techland will show some new footage from the project.

Dying Light 2's development cycle was bumpy, to say the least. Recent reports of problems with the development made some fans fear that the devs would announce cancelation the project on March 17, but the Discord moderator reassures that nothing of the sort will happen. Techland recently reported that work is progressing, but the developers admitted that the project was announced too soon.
