Unlike the usual rumors spread by leakers, the latest information regarding the release window of Grand Theft Auto 6 comes directly from Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick.

During an investor call held on the occasion of the release of the company's latest financial report, the company helmsman confirmed that Take-Two expects record results in the next fiscal year.

"We [Take-Two - ed. note] are confident that we are positioning our business for a significant turning point in fiscal 2025, which we believe will include new record levels of operating performance," the report reads.

The above information coincides with the recent financial report of the company, in which Take-Two revealed that it assumes revenues of 8 billion in fiscal 2025. In fiscal 2024 (ending March 31, 2024), the result is much lower - $5.5 billion in revenue. The difference is therefore significant and clearly indicates an important major project. One can be almost certain that it is about GTA 6.

If this is indeed the case, it means that the title should appear on store shelves between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 (i.e. within the 2025 fiscal year, but not likely at the end of it). Given that Rockstar Games' recent big launches (GTA V and RDR2) took place in the last quarter of the year, it can be assumed that in the case of Grand Theft Auto VI we will see a similar scenario.
