Halo Infinite engine designed for PCs

343 Industries reassures that the Slipspace engine powering Halo Infinite was designed especially for PCs.

Although the cult first person shooter Halo series was created on Xbox brand consoles, a lot of its installments also appeared on PC. The latest part of the series will also share such fate – Halo Infinite. The first trailer of this game could be admired during this year's E3. If some owners of personal computers are afraid that due to the cycle’s history, the Xbox One version may become a priority, then they can sleep peacefully. During the Christmas live broadcast, game developers from 343 Industries ensured that the Slipspace engine was designed for PCs and their users are going to be treated "as first class citizens".

More technical details haven’t been released yet. So it's not clear whether the next installment of the legendary Master Chief's adventures will take advantage of all the graphics possibilities offered by the most powerful home computers.

The exact release date of Halo Infinite on Xbox One and PC has not been announced yet.
