Hayden Christensen Comments on His Return to Star Wars

Hayden Christensen's debut in the Star Wars prequel trilogy was far from perfect. At the time, his performances in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were mercilessly criticized by die-hard fans of the universe. However, over time, his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker has been appreciated (much less the poor script that was thrust upon him), and he has grown into one of the saga's leading characters.

Proof of Christensen's immense popularity can be seen in viewers' reactions to his return to his iconic role in Ahsoka. After the release of the fourth and fifth episodes of the show, the Internet was flooded with a wave of comments from an audience moved by the actor's performance.

The opportunity to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker was also a huge thrill for the artist himself. Behind-the-scenes footage from the show hit the web, in which Christensen shared his joy and gratitude for the opportunity.

Rosario Dawson, who played the role of Ahsoka, also spoke enthusiastically about working with Christensen. The actress made no secret of the fact that reuniting with her longtime friend (they both attended the same classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in their youth) was extremely important to her.
