Helldivers 2 Release Date and New Gameplay
Video footage from the shooter Helldivers 2 showing a boss battle against Bile Titan has hit the web. We also learned the game's release date.
Arrowhead has released a new video from Helldivers 2, the new installment of the shooter series launched in 2015.
The video comes from the PlayStation 5 version and features commentary from Johan Pilestedt, the creative director of Helldivers 2 and president of Arrowhead Studios. It's a gameplay recording of a short mission. We can see a selection of tasks on a spaceship acting as a base, cooperative combat with common enemies and, most importantly, battle with a boss known as the Bile Titan.
Most of the action takes place on a single desert planet, but at the end we also get a glimpse of several other locations, as well as some elements of the ship's upgrade system and the armor and weapons worn by the characters.
Recall that Helldivers 2 is heading for PC and PlayStation 5. The new footage revealed that the release is scheduled for February 8, 2024.
Many players are waiting for the sequel, as the first part of Helldivers won great acclaim. Opencritic shows that the title has an average review rating of 82%. In turn on Steam 92% of all player reviews praise the game, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.
