Warner Bros. Reassures: Hogwarts Legacy Will Launch in 2022

Warner Bros. has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is still scheduled for release in 2022. Thus, the doubts that arose after the recent leaks were dispelled.

The first month of 2022 brought conflicting reports about Hogwarts Legacy. According to one informant, the game is to be released this year and "earlier than we think", and according to another - only next year. Doubts were dispelled by Warner Bros. itself on the official Harry Potter website. In a post about the future of the wizarding series in the coming months, it was confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will debut in 2022.

Unfortunately, no new information was shared or when we can expect the game. As you may remember, according to internet user AccountNGT (known mainly from a leak on Star Wars: Eclipse), Warner Bros. is expected to remind gamers of Hogwarts Legacy "early in the year," most likely with a new trailer.

This lack of details makes it still possible to have concerns about the release of Hogwarts Legacy this year, despite assurances from the publisher. Let's hope that the company will clear the situation them soon, for example by providing an exact release date and presenting some gameplay footage.

Hogwarts Legacy is just one of the attractions prepared for fans of the wizarding universe by Warner Bros. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the release of the first volume of Harry Potter novel series in the UK. On this occasion, a special edition of the book from Bloomsbury will hit the market. What's more, the label is preparing for the debut of the third part of Fantastic Beasts and the documentary Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History. Moreover, from January 1 you can watch Return to Hogwarts - a special program celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first movie adaptation of Harry Potter.
