Hogwarts Legacy Launches; Here's Everything You Need to Know

Official release of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles has become a fact. Any owner of these devices and their own copy of the game can now experience new adventures in the magical universe of Harry Potter. PC users will have to wait until later today for this an opportunity. The game can be purchased on Steam and Epic Games Store.
Third-person action RPG Hogwarts Legacy debuts on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs. If you are a fan of the Harry Potter universe, then you have certainly been anticipating the day of the game's release. After all, who hasn't dreamed of their own unique adventure at the famed School of Magic and Wizardry? Hogwarts Legacy enables you to choose your house, fly on your broomstick, attend classes, use spells against the enemies you encounter and much more. If you are curious about this magical world - below you will read the most important information about the game.
Price and editions
Hogwarts Legacy is available for purchase in two versions: Standard and Deluxe. The former includes the basic game and, on PlayStation consoles, also an additional mission and potion recipe. The Deluxe edition additionally includes a Black Magic Appearance Kit, a mount, a Black Magic Fusilier (digital purchase only) and unlocks access to the Black Magic battle arena. For Standard Edition you will pay $59, and for the Deluxe $69.
If you hurry up and decide to buy in advance, you'll get an onyx hippogriff (available in both editions).
When can you play?
Hogwarts Legacy can actually be played right now - with the Deluxe Edition buyers received 72-hour early access. However, if you choose the Standard version, then the game on PC will be available today, and on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S even sooner.
It is worth recalling that Hogwarts Legacy will also be released on PS4 and Xbox One consoles on April 4, and on Nintendo Switch on July 25.

Is it worth buying?
To the question "Is Hogwarts Legacy worth buying?" everyone must answer for themselves. A big help in making this decision can be the reviews of the game, and these are highly approving. On Metacritic the game can boast an average rating of 83% for the PC version, and on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S 85 and 89 percent, respectively. Our editor gave Hogwarts Legacy a rating of 8.5/10.
The game is already extremely popular. This is evidenced, for example, by breaking the record on Twitch - at the hottest moment Hogwarts Legacy was watched simultaneously by 1.3 million viewers. The title is also very popular on Steam, where the biggest result was more than 489 thousand concurrent users (via SteamDB). The release is sure to further boost this number.

Players with access to the early version of Hogwarts Legacy have reported that the game is struggling with bugs, due to which, for example, some missions cannot be completed. There are also cases of forced shutdown of the game, but an update has already been announced, which is expected to fix this (as well as improve the game's optimization).
