How to Take off the Helmet in Occupy Mars The Game

In this guide we will tell you how to remove the helmet in Occupy Mars. You can do it quite easily.

Occupy Mars: The Game is the new title from Pyramid Games. The developer created a survival, which takes place on titular Mars, so not so far away from Earth. You have to take care of your character’s needs and create new equipment elements and constructions. Of course, there is no air outside. So, the very important mechanic is to manage your oxygen. You can do it for example by taking off and putting on the helmet. However, this activity is not so simple. We will tell you how to do it.

#1 method

There are two methods of taking off and putting on the helmet. Firstly, we present you the one which is more comfortable and quicker. We recommend to use this:

  1. Enter menu (press the Esc key by default)
  2. In the Categories pick “Players”
  3. Look for Players section of key binding.
  4. Find Put on / off helmet setting and change the key. Pick the one you like. We decided on H (Helmet).

From now on, every time you press the key, you will be able to remove or put on the helmet.

#2 method

  1. Open your tablet (Tab key by default).
  2. Enter inventory menu.
  3. Click the helmet and drag it to one of your inventory slots. Eventually you can double click it.

A you can see, because of the hassle, it is better to keybind the process, rather than do it manually.
