More Gameplay From IGI Origins; Devs Thank Fans for Support

The developers of the I.G.I. series and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam have shared another gameplay from the upcoming I.G.I. Origins. It shows a lot of new locations, more stealth and realistic shooting.

Great reception of the first gameplay trailer for I.G.I. Origins has prompted the team at Antimatter Games to publish another footage with gameplay fragments.

More stealth and stealth action

The trailer consists of two parts: thanks to the players for the positive reaction to the previous footage, and another gameplay fragment with an emphasis on showing stealth scenes. The second section begins at around the 00:47 mark.

The trailer doesn't reveal anything that might surprise the fans, but it's still worth taking a moment to watch. The developers are eager to showcase stealth (including stealth kills with firearms), and there are plenty of open shootouts. One can also observe a large variety of locations that we will visit in the game - from the inaccessible tundra through the African savannah to the forested taiga.

I.G.I. Origins was announced in 2019, but first leaks appeared two years earlier. Despite many years of development, the game's release date still remains unknown. It cannot be ruled out that the COVID-19 pandemic is behind the long development time, which has caused a lot of problems for many developers. The title is headed for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.

The community is growing stronger

The first trailer, published two months ago, was viewed almost 900,000 times, which is a great indication of how many gamers are interested in the title. The latest gameplay has received nearly 400 comments in less than 20 hours. The vast majority of commenters are delighted.

"I really appreciate the tremendous efforts you are putting into bringing this legend back to life," praises Uzair Shah

"I've been waiting for this type of game for a long time... I want to feel the stealth and camouflage on my own skin. I want to destroy light sources, hide in bushes... I want to feel fulfilled and realistically shoot my weapon!," writes Major Ingram

"I love the atmosphere and environment, I can't wait to see longer gameplay footage and all the tactical options that will be available in the game," comments LKBD
