Horror Game ILL on Unreal Engine 5; Gameplay Video Available

A gameplay video from the horror game ILL has appeared in the web. The game surprises with realism, which was achieved by using Unreal Engine 5.

Quite recently, Team CLOUT quite shared new gameplay footage from their debut title - ILL. It's a first-person horror game, which has recently been ported to a new engine - Unreal Engine 5. Here's how do the effects of Team CLOUT's work look like so far:

Admittedly, the fragment shared by the creators does not brim with action, but intrigues with very realistic mechanics of the main character's movement. As we learn from the profile of Team CLOUT on Patreon, it's thanks to motion capture technology, the use of which the team of developers boasted.

In addition to realistic movement, the environment's level of refinement impresses, not only because of the detail, but also the lighting effects. And although the video lasts less than a minute, we can already tell that one of ILL's strengths will definitely be its atmosphere.

As for the adventure we'll experience in ILL the creators won't bet on a complicated story that will play with the player's mind (like the Amnesia or Silent Hill series). Instead the game will aim at disturbing discoveries and chilling design (take a look at the concept art to see for yourself). A realistic, and therefore immersive, world will play an important role.

A lot of content shared by the creators is only available to those who support the project on Patreon. At this point, both the release date and the target platforms remain unknown. However, the whole thing promises to be interesting.
