The latest v0.1.5 patch for inZOI introduces a realistic shading system, significantly improving the appearance of characters, interiors, and the city. The update also improves the camera and fixes minor bugs.
inZOI devs aren't slowing down. The latest patch, marked with the number v0.1.5, brings long-awaited visual changes and a lot of major gameplay improvements. The new update brings a shading system that finally makes characters look the way they were designed in the character creator.
As part of the update, Korean developers introduced realistic shadows, they also allowed players to enable more detailed shadows option in the graphic settings. The result? The interiors have gained a more cinematic atmosphere, and the faces of our ZOI in unfavorable light no longer resemble creatures straight out of a horror movie.
It's no secret that the character's faces in inZOI sparked some controversy, as they looked much better in the creator than in the actual game. The devs admitted that this was a response to the player's feedback. However, they never reached the level known from the release version of Mass Effect: Andromeda...
Of course, the changes don't end there. Patch 0.1.5 also introduces some gameplay improvements and fixes many bugs.
The new update is further proof that Krafon Studio is not just cashing in on the successful launch of the game in early access, but is actively developing their sim and carefully listening to the players.
