Leader Kicked Everyone Out of Clan in Diablo Immortal; Claimed Entire Boon

More problems in Diablo Immortal. Ill-thought out rules enabled one player to take advantage of other members of his clan and take their loot for himself.

The Diablo series has always relied heavily on cooperation between players. Teams of virtual warriors could prepare for weeks for raids, which, thanks to the joint efforts of their participants, led to huge profits and built a mutual bond. The now infamous Diablo Immortal has had the opportunity to cause much discontent among the fan community since its release. This time it featured one of the most audacious thefts in the history of the series.

He kicked his clanmates and claimed the gold

One of the players who fell victim to the recent events decided to share his experience on Reddit. According to his account, the newly elected leader of the Immortals clan on the American server because of a private quarrel with some members of the team, he decided to expel all but one person.

This took place right before Rite of Exile, a weekly clash of clans that rewards participants for their contribution to the team and their performance in battle. Under normal circumstances, the winnings are divided among all members, but in this case all the loot earned by the kicked players went to the leader. His profit most likely reached tens of millions in gold.

One is left to wonder who is really responsible for this event - the clan leader, or perhaps the developers of the game whose rules allowed him to do so. The leader took over the post after his predecessor, who was immersed in private problems. Both were supposedly unaware that Diablo Immortal only allows a clan leader to change once every two weeks, which nailed the replacement in his new position for the period.

Community is unhappy

In the original post by user Senior_Discount939, the community expressed its displeasure over the lack of any safeguards against such ploys. A mix of interpersonal conflicts and unintuitive solutions in the regulations of Diablo Immortal has led to another damage to the game's public opinion.

"How is this even possible? Why hasn't a system been created to prevent such hilarious but terrible situations?," comments Reddit user Nihi1986.

The developers have not yet addressed the problem, which may be one of the nails in the coffin of the much-hated installment of the famous series.
