List of all Battlefield 6's maps has leaked. Veterans will spot classics from the good old days
According to unofficial information, Battlefield 6 is set to receive 15 maps at launch. Dataminer claims that 4 of them will come from previous installments of the series.
Electronic Arts has finally started openly talking about the upcoming Battlefield 6, the game has received an official trailer, and a presentation of the multiplayer mode has been announced for July 31. However, this didn't stop further leaks about the content of the game. As reported by GameStar, the title is set to get 15 maps at launch. One of the data miners found out that there will be 11 new locations and 4 familiar ones in the upcoming installment of the series.
- During the game, we will visit Cairo, including probably the old part of the city, referring to the historical Abbasid Caliphate, as well as the outskirts of the metropolis. Moreover, we will be visiting Gibraltar (maps Battery and Limestone), Tajikistan (Capstone, Tungsten), and Brooklyn (Dumbo, Aftermath). The list is closed by 3 levels straight from California, Eastwood (most likely this is a reference to the abandoned town in San Diego County), Badlands (mountain range), and Granite.
- Among the returning locations, maps such as Operation Firestorm (set in an oil refinery) and Talah Market (featuring a bazaar and narrow streets in the Iranian city of Yazd) from the third installment are expected to appear. If the reports are true, they will be joined by the Propaganda map (located in the capital of North Korea, with a distinctive train passing through it) from Battlefield 4, as well as Downtown (the financial district of Los Angeles) from Battlefield Hardline.
- From the leak, we also learn that the campaign is supposed to have 9 missions. After the prologue, we'll end up in Gibraltar, then on a night operation to Cairo, and for defensive purposes to Brooklyn. Next, we're supposedly going to experience a drone attack in Tajikistan, and then we'll supposedly head to the big finale through levels that will take us back to Gibraltar, Brooklyn, and Cairo (where we'll supposedly be driving a tank).
Battlefield 6 is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The title doesn't have a release date yet, but a temporary error on the game's website suggested a debut on October 10th this year.
