The most difficult one, which I recently encountered, was “Don’t be crumby, let’s jam!.” Answering this one was really painful and I will remember it for a long time. Fortunately, this unpleasant experience is behind me. However, now we need to face the new challenge - “Salty or spicy, but not sweet.” It was far easier for me than the last one. This puzzle is not very difficult, as long as we have the right mindset. We need to look at the hint and food in a general way. How can we divide dishes based on their taste? What is the opposite of sweet? The answer to these questions is also a solution to the Buzzword.

1. Salty or spicy, but not sweet – Savory.

We can say that the dish is savory if it is not sweet. Mostly we use this word to describe food that is suitable for the main course (yes, I know that some sweet dishes, like pancakes, can also be the main course… but you know what I mean). It fits well with the Buzzword, as savory meals can be both salty and spicy. While I like to eat something sweet from time to time, I prefer savory meals in the long run.
