If you’re struggling with the Buzzword for “Bubbly beverage” in Cookie Jam, don’t stress. We’ve got the answer right here.
It’s Friday, which means it’s time to kick off the new Buzzwords challenge in Cookie Jam. If you’ve been playing along, you’ll notice we’re still keeping those sunny summer vibes going, just like last weekend. So, if you’re stuck on the clue “Bubbly beverage,” don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Keep scrolling for a little help to keep your streak going strong.
There’s really only one answer that fits, so let’s get right to it:
Soda usually means a fizzy, sweet soft drink (like cola or lemon-lime) made with carbonated water. That bubbly texture comes from carbon dioxide gas. But soda can also just be plain soda water or club soda, which is basically just fizzy water without any sugar or flavor.
Ever wonder how it’s actually made? First, the water gets filtered and cleaned to remove any impurities. Then, carbon dioxide is added to the cold water under pressure to create all those signature bubbles and a slightly tangy kick. After that, flavor syrups (made from fruit, herbs, or even artificial stuff) are mixed in. Sweeteners like cane sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, or sugar substitutes (for diet versions) are added too.
Once everything’s blended together, the soda gets bottled or canned in airtight containers so it stays nice and fizzy until you pop it open.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
