Lords of the Fallen 2 has a turbulent past. In 2015 CI Games ended its cooperation with the company responsible for the first installment - Deck 13. Three years later it was announced that the game will be development by American devs at Defiant Studios. However, this cooperation also ended in failure. As a result of such a turn of affairs CI Games established an internal studio called Hexworks, which is to develop the title.
