Mafia Definitive Edition Launches; Here's Another Visual Comparison

Mafia: Definitive Edition launched on the market. A video material comparing remake's graphics with the original from 2002 has also appeared on the web.

The Remake debuts eighteen years after Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.

The launch of Mafia: Definitive Edition, a remake of aclassic action game from 2002, is here. The game is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. The PC edition is available on Steam and Epic Games Store.

Unlike Mafia II: Definitive Edition, which was only a remaster, Mafia: Definitive Edition is a full remake. The creators put a lot of work into the new version of the first installment. This is well illustrated by IGN's video, which offers a visual comparison of the game with the original from 2002.

On PC Mafia: The Final Edition uses the anti-piracy Denuvo system. Before deciding to purchase the PC edition, it's worth getting acquainted with its system requirements.

First reviews suggest that the game meets the expectations. The PC version boasts an average rating of 78% on Metacritic. For the PS4 release the score is 76% and for Xbox One - 82%. The remake was also appreciated by our editor, who gave it 8.0/10.

Importantly, even less flattering reviews criticize the game mainly for being too faithful to the original, which should not really bother the fans. The game was also warmly received by the players. Currently, there are 440 reviews on Steam and 87% of them are positive.
