Hooded Horse is currently one of the biggest publishers in the strategy game category, with releases including Manor Lords and Against the Storm. Another promising title from this company will soon be released in the form of the Black & White series-inspired game Fata Deum.
In just a few years, Hooded Horse has grown into one of the best publishers of strategy games thanks to titles such as Against the Storm, Xenonauts 2, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic and, above all, the hit Manor Lords. Soon, the company may add another gem to its list of successes in the form of Fata Deum, which is inspired by old series that allow you to "play God," such as Populous and Black & White.
In Fata Deum, we immerse ourselves in a god competing with other similar beings for control over a magical land. During the day, our influence on the faithful settlers will be subtle and will be limited to inspiring people. They will have free will, so they won't always follow our suggestions. On the other hand, at night we gain much more power, issuing specific, even absolute orders - concerning both the construction of villages and, for instance, attacking other settlements.
Fata Deum will offer a lot of freedom to shape what kind of deity we will become. Caring for the development of our followers in a merciful way is just as effective as being a dark deity that terrifies people into obedience and conquests. Of course, a rich selection of divine powers will help us in all of this.
In the end, it's worth mentioning the system requirements of the game.
