IN A NUTSHELL:
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition - a set of refreshed versions of the first three installments of the iconic RPG series from BioWare - launches today. Reviews suggest that we're dealing with great remasters. The set will be available on PC (Steam or Origin), as well as PlayStation) and Xbox consoles.
It is worth recalling that the Mass Effect series was launched in 2007. In the first three parts, we play as Commander Shepard (either male of female) - a soldier who becomes the first ever human Spectre, an elite agent of the galatic government, sent only on exceptionally difficult tasks. The protagonist is given a mission to stop a traitor named Saren from carrying out a mysterious plan. However, as it turns out, this is only a small piece of a much bigger intrigue, connected with events from tens of thousands of years ago and forces that may pose a threat to the entire galaxy.
We would also like to remind about the changes in visuals and gameplay mechanics in each part of the series and the photo mode offered by the remasters. Below you can also find the system requirements for the PC version.
