Medieval GTA Rustler Gets Early Access Release Date

Jutsu Games and Games Operators have announced the early access release date of Rustler. The „Medieval GTA” will launch exactly in a month. In connection with the announcement, a live-action trailer was also published.

On April 9 last year, a demo of Rustler described as a "medieval GTA" hit Steam. Now the title is entering the next stage of development. Developer Jutsu Games and Games Operators have announced that the game will launch in early access on Steam on February 18. On this occasion, a trailer has been published, available below.

The trailer is entirely live-action and shows the absurdity of the game to a certain degree. We can see many aspects that don't fit the medieval theme - including "tattooing" armor and speed limits on the roads. The whole things is kept in an adventurous vibe, which emphasizes the protagonist's character.

Rustler is a top-down sandbox action game, clearly inspired by solutions known from GTA series, which it moves to medieval setting. During the adventure, we play as the adventurer called The Guy and explore the open world, performing missions, stealing horses and wreaking havoc among the inhabitants of nearby villages.

If you want to test the game right now, you can download a free demo - Rustler: Prologue - from Steam. The creators describe it as a short game, which is to introduce us to the main character.
