Update 1.20 for Minecraft With Release Date

We have learned the release date of update 1.20 for Minecraft, which has been announced months ago. The big patch will launch in just over a dozen days.

Minecraft will soon receive update 1.20, called Trails & Tales, which will introduce a number of new features to the game - including a new biome. The patch will be made available on June 7 of this year.

The fact that the update is being made, was revealed as early as last year. Later, however it was presented what will actually be coming to the game, and it was announced that the new content will gradually be made available for testing through so-called Java version snapshots and a Bedrock version bera. Now the update will make its way to all players.

What will patch 1.20 introduce? The list is quite long and includes many interesting elements. Among the most important new features are:

  1. Sniffer mob, which, as the name suggests, will sniff for plant seeds. To grow it, you must first find an egg;
  2. Cherry Blossom biome, covered in cherry trees ;
  3. archaeology mechanic. The desert biomes will feature "suspicious sand", which can be examined with a brush. Various types of bones or pottery shards will be found in it;
  4. The possibility of riding camels;
  5. objects made of bamboo.
