Reddit user known as on_reddit_i_gettit shared his interesting project. Namely, the mobile version of Minecraft some time ago received a mod that introduced a working phone into the game. A few days ago, the author of the thread decided to add an app to the mod, which enables the player to launch Mojang's hit (the game on the phone is imitated by special scripts created using so-called command blocks). This, technically speaking, enabled him to play Minecraft on his phone in Minecraft on his phone. This is all the more impressive because the player used the so-called Bedrock version of the game, which is said to require unholy amounts of dedication to design of such a thing. You can see how exactly his work looks like on the video below.

The developer has taken advantage of mods that can be downloaded at this address. It is worth noting that his original version with Minecraft is not yet publicly available. The phone in the game uses mapping technology, which makes the screen move with the movements of our character in the normal world. A jump is responsible for clicking on the screen and a squat is responsible for returning to the start screen. The original version of the mod enables us to listen to music and play Flappy Bird.

Minecraft Update 1.16.2

Finally, Minecraft has just received another update. It is much smaller than the one released at the end of June, where the creators focused mainly on enriching the Nether biome. Now players can expect only minor improvements, including a new opponent, experimental support for original biomes, as well as fixing bugs and issues. The full list of changes in update 1.16.2 can be found here.
