Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer Focuses on Keepers of Time
A new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has seen the light of day. Published by NetherRealm Studios, the video focuses on the Keepers of Time; it also shows Geras and Liu Kang.
NetherRealm Studios has released a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The footage focuses on the Keepers of Time, as well as the sand-manipulating character Geras, who made his debut in Mortal Kombat 11. In addition, we can see Liu Kang and his new fatality.
Mortal Kombat 1 is heading to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The title will debut on September 19, this year.
- Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of the cult fightin game series, which dates back to 1992.
- The title will take us to a reborn universe created by the God of Fire, Liu Kang. Familiar characters will enter a new era, and it will only be up to them whether they join forces or decide to compete.
- The game, which is the twelfth installment in the series, will introduce a new combat system, as well as previously unseen fatalities.
- Among the available heroes, fighters well known to fans of the series will lead the way. Nevertheless, wanting to distinguish the game from its predecessors, the developers have decided to make some changes in their designs. Characters such as Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Mileena and Scorpion were created anew and differ from their counterparts from previous installments.
- It is worth noting that by preordering Mortal Kombat 1 we will gain access to Shang Tsung.
- The game in question will also introduce so-called Kameo Fighters - partner characters who will help players during fights, creating additional gameplay opportunities. We will choose them from a separate list of available fighters.
