Just a few shots of Spider-Man's new costume were enough to focus the attention of Marvel fans on the character played by Tom Holland, who is set to look better than ever in the new movie.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps has just hit theaters, and while there's no denying that the movie caused quite a stir, it was quickly overshadowed by another Marvel-related event. On August 1, filming began on Spider-Man: Brand New Day starring Tom Holland.
Due to this and the plan to shoot the movie on location rather than only in a closed studio, the creators of Spider-Man: Brand New Day immediately decided to reveal Holland's new costume before they were beaten to it by people who would show up on set and take pictures of the actor.
They had to stay ahead of leaks, as this time they opted for a real costume rather than one recreated with computer effects, so Tom Holland appeared on set wearing it. And after the official announcement, photos from the set began to flood in, giving a better look at how the superhero will look in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Fans are delighted with Tom Holland's new costume, happy that his Spider-Man has finally received an outfit faithful to the comics. They were tired of the nanotechnology-based costume and wanted to see Spider-Man in a regular, fabric costume, preferably looking homemade, which would be a return to his roots. And finally, Tom Holland got exactly the outfit that fulfills almost all of the fans' wishes, who are happy that the creators went for a more comic book style rather than the MCU style.
