In Octopath Traveler 2, players can acquire additional licenses for the Apothecary Job through trading in rare items. Find out how to get the Primeval Horn Elixir and Herb of Grace Buds in this guide.

How to obtain more Apothecary Job Licenses in Octopath Traveler 2

You need additional Job Licenses if you want more than one of your characters to become an Apothecary. In order to get them, you will have to to complete the Obtain a Peculiar Horn and Obtain a Rare Plant Apothecary guild tasks. Each of them requires bringing 3 of a rare item to the Apothecary guild – Primeval Horn Elixir and Herb of Grace Buds respectively.

How to get the Primeval Horn Elixir in Octopath Traveler 2

1. Head to Timberain in the Leaflands region,

1. Head down the Southern Timberain Trail,
2. Turn left, down and then left again,

1. Reach House Wellows Manor,
2. Climb a ladder on the right of the building to go inside,

1. Explore the manor until you randomly encounter a Devil Deer,
2. Defeat it or steal from it with the Thief’s skill Steal to obtain Primeval Horn Elixir.

In order to fulfil the Guild task, you will need three Elixirs.

How to get Herb of Grace Buds in Octopath Traveler 2

1. Go to the Black Market in New Delsta Flats in the Birghtlands region,

1. Switch to night,
2. If only one merchant appears, switch to day and then to night again, more of them will come,
3. Talk to the merchant in the middle, who is selling herbs,

1. Pay a total of 5,940 leaves to buy three Herbs of Grace Buds.
