Phoenix Point received a new edition and support for Steam Workshop. Unfortunately, the end of the game's further development was also announced.
Phoenix Point: Complete Edition, a new edition of the popular tactical turn-based game from studio Snapshot Games, designed by UFO: Enemy Unknown's Julian Gollop, has been released.
The complete edition includes the basic version of the game along with all three paid DLCs, namely Kaos Engines, Festering Skies i Corrupted Horizons, and two free DLCs (Blood and Titanium i Legacy of the Ancients).
Simultaneously with the release of the Complete Edition the game also gained support for Steam Workshop. A number of modifications have already been released (you can find some noteworthy ones, among others. on our FTP server and Nexus Mods), but now their installation will be much easier, which we hope will contribute to increased popularity of mods for Phoenix Point.
For now, one mod is available in the Steam Workshop:
Better support for mods will be very useful, as it has now fallen on the shoulders of fans to develop the game. Update accomapnying the release of the Complete Edition, called Hastur (adding support for Steam Workshop) is, after all, the last major patch to be released for Phoenix Point.
