Harry Potter fans are gaining more information about the upcoming TV series – now they've managed to get a glimpse of the new Great Hall, which they have high expectations for.
Work is underway on a new adaptation of Harry Potter, which is causing a lot of excitement among fans. Some are looking forward to a new adaptation that will tell the story from the books more broadly, while others are unconvinced by the idea, claiming that this production isn’t needed because the movies are still holding up very well.
Regardless of what fans think, the TV series from HBO Max is being made and work on it is moving forward. A sizable portion of the cast has already been selected and announced, and sets are being built. Previously, we could see Platform 9 and 3/4 being built, and now a glimpse has been gained of the Great Hall where the Hogwarts school year commencement ceremony and other important assemblies and meals are held.
A key location from HP, which has become iconic thanks to the films, is being built from scratch for the TV show, as visitors to the exhibition Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, located at Warner Bros. studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire. The same studio will be the setting for the series, and as a result, it's where the new sets are being built, and thanks to a raised blind, fans were able to get a sneak peek at what the new Great Hall looks like.
The photos show that the team of the Harry Potter TV series still has quite a bit of work to do before the Great Hall is ready. However, you can already see more or less what the idea is for the location, which will feature a lot of arches and stone walls. It shouldn't be very different from the movie one, although fans are hoping that the series' creators will also draw inspiration from the Hogwarts Legacy game, as the Great Hall from there was particularly to their liking.

We will have to wait a while for the final look of the Great Hall in the Harry Potter series from HBO Max.
