The developers of Path of Exile 2 have published two infographics on the game's website containing a wealth of interesting information. We learned about the most popular class or the total number of player deaths. Moreover, another novelty was revealed, heading to the game along with the 0.2.0 update.
We've recently hired a new data analyst that some of you may recognise from the community, Lilylicious! Part of her work involves gathering information from game logs, which can provide some interesting stats.
Unfortunately, the released information relates not to the entire early access period, but solely to the timeframe from February 18 to 25. The data was 1.5 TB, but GGG is developing a system to greatly reduce its size, allowing them to share similar information with us more quickly in the future.
However, the above statistics aren't the only things that Grinding Gear Games shared, as we also learned about another new feature coming to PoE 2 with the 0.2.0 update. Earlier we got a glimpse of two new unique items and several additional supporting skills.
Now the devs have announced that patch 0.2.0 will introduce a big change to the Towers. Starting with the next version, they will resemble regular maps and can feature league mechanics, including bosses. Furthermore, we will be able to upgrade them with tablets used in other Towers, which should make going through them much more interesting.
According to the developers' plans, the 0.2.0 update should launch within the next few weeks.
