NetEase has released a new trailer for Project Mugen - an open-world action RPG developed by Naked Rain. The spectacular video presents the game like a combination of Genshin Impact and Grand Theft Auto V, enriched with solutions evoking associations with the Marvel's Spider-Man series.

At the same time, the developers argue that the strong point of their work will be interaction with the environment. When walking through the streets of the neon-lit metropolis, you will be able to interact with almost any object that comes within your reach.

Project Mugen is heading for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. The game's release date is not yet known (nor is its final title).

  1. Project Mugen will take us to an Earth-like world, where urban legends have become reality and humans coexist with supernatural entities.
  2. During the gameplay, we will take on the role of so-called Espers - investigators who roam the bustling city, confronting anomalies and supernatural phenomena that threaten the balance of the world. Along the way, we will have to cooperate with fellow investigators, discover the mysteries of urban life, as well as face numerous opponents.
  3. The game world will have an open structure, and we will traverse it both on foot (which will make the parkour system more attractive) and behind the controls of vehicles.
