Resident Evil 2 Remake With Excellent Sales; Discount to Celebrate

Capcom proudly announced that Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold 10 million copies. On this occasion, a discount has been launched.

The Japanese developer announced via Twitter, that remake of Resident Evil 2 has crossed the magic barrier of 10 million copies sold. On this occasion, the studio has prepared a nice surprise for fans - all those who complete the game will see an image on their screens informing them of the game's impressive success.

With excellent quality comes magnificent result

Undoubtedly, this impressive result would not have happened if it were not for the original installments of the series. The series originates from the first Resident Evil from 1996. In turn, its sequel, originally released in 1998, returned after more than two decades in a completely new edition. Thanks to the use of the proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 Remake offered a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga, providing extremely realistic graphics, atmospheric audio and upgraded controls. All this to deliver an even more intense gameplay experience.

The aforementioned project turned out to be a hit, as the refreshed version of the second installment of the popular series collected great reviews and successively reached for it by subsequent players, which translated into huge sales.

Recall that some time ago the developer announced that next year we would get a remake of Resident Evil 4. On the other hand, the fall of 2022 will be hot with the release of Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition.

RE 2 Remake discounted

Finally, it is worth mentioning, That Resident Evil 2 Remake can currently be purchased at the bargain price of less than $20 on Steam and PlayStation. In the case of the former, the discount is valid until July 26. Meanwhile, the special offer on the PS store will end on July 21.

Capcom's masterpiece is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One..
