More Resident Evil 4 Coming Soon? Also Capcom is Preparing a Show [UPDATE]

You can add another date to your June calendar - on June 13 Capcom is holding its own show. A remake of Resident Evil 4 and more details about Street Fighter 6 are likely, and it's possible that there will be a few surprises as well.

Update

Our guesses turned out to be correct. It has just been announced that during the Capcom Showcase we will get a "fresh look" at the remake of Resident Evil 4.

Original message

HIGHLIGHTS:
  1. Capcom has announced its own game presentation, which will take place on June 13. The event is scheduled to begin at 3 pm PT;
  2. The Capcom Showcase is expected to last just over half an hour and will focus on already announced items, though the publisher is not ruling out "one or two announcements."

Everyone has a "showcase", I have one too!, shouted Capcom, then announced its own event, during which we will learn more details about the already announced projects developed by the Japanese company. The Capcom Showcase - as the event is called - will begin at 3 pm PT on June 13 and will last approximately 35 minutes.

Capcom Showcase with surprises?

Although we do not have any official information on what titles will appear on the showcase, we can count on new details regarding the remake of Resident Evil 4, and DLCs for Resident Evil Village, Street Fighter 6, Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak, Exoprimal and Pragmatics.

On the Discord channel dedicated to the creators cooperating with Capcom there was also information that "one or two announcements" of completely new games are possible. Birds are chirping that it may be a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. One "bird" in particular - in the person of the game's director, Hideaki Itsuno, directs fans to the fact that during the Capcom Showcase will see a continuation of this action RPG with dragons.

Rumors about Dragon's Dogma 2 have been appearing for several years now and the game was featured in numerous leaks, such as the one from the GeForce NOW database last year. However, fans are expecting a lot more, and among the titles rumored to be in the works is the new Mega Man or a sequel to Ace Attorney.
