New Gameplay From Resident Evil Village Presents Mercenaries Mode

A video surfaced on the web, showing fragments of gameplay from the Mercenaries mode, part of Capcom's upcoming survival game Resident Evil Village.

Soon, on May 7, 2021, the newest, eighth installment of the Resident Evil series will launch. The title will offer quite a lot, because in addition to the main story and multiplayer mode with Resident Evil: Re:Verse we will be able (after completing the game) to spend time with Mercenaries mode, which we last saw in 2012 as additional content to Resident Evil 6. IGN published on gameplay footage on YouTube, which shows what to expect from it.

Based on the gameplay footage, we can safely say that this is the good old Mercenaries - we take on increasingly challenging waves of enemies while buying weapons, first aid kits, and ammunition in the shop. It can be a nice way to spend a few (or a dozen) extra hours with the game.

Resident Evil Village will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Its third, final demo version will launch on May 2 and will be available to try for the next 7 days.
