RTX 3090 Ti Price Leaked

There is just over a week left until the release of the RTX 3090 Ti. After the recent GPU price drops, one could look with hope towards the pricing of this GPU. However, the offer from one Canadian retailer leaves none of that hope.

The latest information shows that the RTX 3090 Ti will debut as early as March 29. A Twitter user posted an offer from one of the Canadian stores, featuring the long-awaited GPU. Its price, however, can cause quite a headache.

Two models of this chip appeared in the store's database. The first of them is ASUS GF TUF Strix with 24 GB, which is priced at almost 4650 Canadian dollars. The second card available in the offer is ASUS ROG STRIX LC 24 GB - costing 240 Canadian dollars.

Almost identical prices leaked back in January, so it can be expected that this indeed is the cost of the most powerful GPUs from Nvidia.

What will the RTX 3090 Ti offer?

But will the specs of RTX 3090 Ti models be a sufficient argument to buy them? Based on previous information, we can say that not much promises significant difference in performance compared to the regular RTX 3090.

  • Base clock - 1560 MHz
  • Turbo - 1860 MHz
  • CUDA Units - 10,752
  • RT Cores - 84
  • TDP - 450 W

Compared to RTX 3090, the differences are marginal - the base model has 10,496 CUDA units, 82 RT cores, and its base clocking is set at 1395 MHz. So will an extra few hundred dollars for an increase in performance at the level of a few percent be profitable?

As consolation there is the fact that in recent months we have noticed a definite improvement on the GPU market. Since the beginning of March prices of some chipsets have dropped even by 20%. However, they still cost more than they should according to MSRP.
