Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, a game that continues the popular cartoon, has been announced. The release date, platforms and hardware requirements of the PC version were revealed. The title is developed by Soleil, a studio known from Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

In May this year it will be three years since the premiere of the last episode of the animated series Samurai Jack. However, the franchise lives on in other media, the latest proof of which is the announcement of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. The production is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The release is scheduled for summer this year.
Interestingly, although the cartoon was produced by Americans, the creation of the game was entrusted to the Japanese studio Soleil, known from Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. The developers previously worked for Team Ninja on the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series.
In Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time we will control the title warrior, who will go on a time travel to thwart the plans of the demon Aku. Fans of the original will be pleased to hear that Darrick Bachman, the main scriptwriter, is responsible for the game's plot.
During the game, we will explore different time lines, moving both to the distant past and the future. The story was conceived as the culmination of Jack's story, and during the game we will meet many characters from the animated series.
We'll be observing the events from TPP and the fun will focus on traversing three-dimensional maps and fighting hordes of opponents. The devs promise extensive combat mechanics, providing access to many types of attacks and weapons. There will also be a progression system to unlock new skills.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the hardware requirements of the PC version are available on the game's profile on Steam.
