Autum sale on Steam is approaching. As announced, it will begin on November 21 at 10 a.m. PST. Hundreds of games will be discounted, and the promotions will last until evenly for a week - until November 28.

Not counting minor, regular price reductions on games this will be this year's penultimate sale on Valve's platform. The next one - the grand winter sale - will start a month later, i.e. on December 21, and will last until January 4, 2024.

Literally any game can be discounted, so there is nothing to speculate on which titles are worth sharpening your teeth for. I will only mention that we may see the first post-release price reduction of Baldur's Gate III, which won as many as seven statuettes at the 2023 Golden Jystick Awards, including the one for best game of the current year.

The upcoming sale on Steam is undoubtedly a good excuse to hold off on other game purchases, thereby saving some pennies. Slight shopping restraint is advisable, all the more so because November 21 may also see the start of the Black Friday sale in Epic Games Store, as part of which discount coupons are expected to return - and for as much as 33 percent off.

It is worth adding that during the autumn sale on Valve's platform its users will traditionally be able to nominate games that will compete for Steam Awards. There is a good chance that in this case the main prize will also be won by the third "Baldur". Nevertheless, given the multitude of good games released this year, the fight in the other categories could be very interesting.
