On one of the servers of Dune: Awakening, a self-appointed Council has been formed to make other players miserable. Opponents of the rules it imposes are preparing to revolt.

Lately, there have been a lot of cheaters in Dune: Awakening, making the game less fun for others. The latest example of such bad behavior is the events on one of the popular MMO servers, as described by a user on Reddit with the username Prototype1342.

What exactly is the problem? On the ORSIPPIS server, a "Council" of several large guilds was formed, which created very strict rules for players. Under its rule, access to the resources in the Deep Desert is severely limited, and those who try to approach them are immediately attacked.

Furthermore, according to the despotic guilds, women and solo players are not allowed to be on the map. As the internet user reported, the cheaters call themselves "incels," and their leader, referred to as Wisconsin Whim, allegedly controls the arena all the time to ensure the rules are being followed.

No wonder other Dune fans are planning a rebellion. Prototype1342 is encouraging new players to join the army to increase the rebels' fighting potential and ultimately defeat the tyrants.

After the release of Dune: Awakening, many people complained about the endgame because it favored large guilds. The devs, after many comments, decided to resolve this inconvenience. After the situation is publicized, Funcom will probably step in and either kick out the self-proclaimed Council members from the game or introduce some restrictions to prevent such incidents in the future.
