Warmly Received SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is Heading to Consoles
SpellForce: Conquest of Eo, a 4X turn-based strategy set in the SpellForce universe, is heading to consoles. The item in question will hit new platforms later this year.
THQ Nordic and Owned by Gravity have announced that SpellForce: Conquest of Eo will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles later this year. On this occasion, a new trailer for the game has been prepared.
SpellForce: Conquest of Eo made its debut on PC on February 3. The gamewas warmly received by players, as confirmed by "very positive" reviews on Steam. Also the industry media appreciated it; on Metacritic the average rating is 77/100.
- SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is a 4X turn-based strategy game. The studio responsible for its creation is Owned by Gravity, known for such games as Fantasy General II and Forgotten Fables: Wolves on the Westwind. The game is a spin-off of the popular SpellForce series.
- The action of the discussed item takes place in the fantasy world of Eo. Players take on the role of a mage who inherits a tower from his deceased master. Discovering that his teacher conducted research on the mysterious Primordial Fire, a great source of magical power, he decides to continue his work.
- During the course of the game, the player has to face other mages, striving for dominance, as well as perform various side quests, of which there are about 600 in total.
- Gamplay in SpellForce: Conquest of Eo takes place in turn-based mode. The key element of the gameplay is developing your army, acquiring magical knowledge, enabling you to use more than 60 spells, as well as taking over territories rich in resources.
- At the beginning of the game, the player has the option of choosing one of three mage archetypes: alchemist, necromancer or inventor, or creating a custom character. Each mage type has unique abilities, spells and items that can be created in the crafting system. As the player's character progresses, various apprentices and heroes join him or her, supporting him or her in battle with their skills.
