After many updates, we will soon learn about the further development plans for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Developers from GSC Game World studio confirmed this in a conversation with VideoGamer. According to them, the team is "eternally grateful to the fans" who gave it a chance and enjoyed the latest installment of the series (there are already over 6 million of them). The developers are proud of creating a "real STALKER" and are glad that fans appreciate it, despite the "technical shortcomings."

The studio assured that it is committed to further updating the game with both subsequent patches and "new content." The patches are set to introduce not only the promised A-Life 2.0 system in all its glory (following the previous patches, which breathed some life into the Zone), but also to restore the content that was cut from the game before its release.

We are supposed to learn the details "soon" thanks to the roadmap. In this way, the team wants to be more "transparent," so that players have a better understanding of the developers' intentions and what else STALKER 2 will receive in the future.
