PoE 2's big 0.2.0 update gets a release date. Short teaser reveals new character class
Path of Exile 2 devs released a short teaser of the 0.2.0 update titled Dawn of the Hunt. We learned about the release date and the new class that will be added to the game.

Grinding Gear Games studio is further ramping up the atmosphere before the full announcement of the 0.2.0 update for Path of Exile 2. The studio has released a short video, announcing a live stream, as well as revealing the name and release date of the new version. You can watch the trailer below.
- The 0.2.0 update has been titled Dawn of the Hunt.
- The reveal of the content will take place during a live stream on Twitch scheduled for March 27 at 12:00 pm PT.
- The launch of Dawn of the Hunt will take place on April 4th at 1:00 pm PT.
The video primarily reveals a completely new character class, whose main weapon is a spear. Huntress, as she is called, was previously showcased by the developers but didn't make it into the game for the early access release. Now, finally, this will change, which has brought great joy to the players.
However, there was a hitch related to the release date of the update. It was set for two days after the release of the Second Season of Last Epoch. Many players are therefore dissatisfied with GGG's decision, which forces them to choose between one of two titles.
The 0.2.0 update, apart from the mentioned Huntress, will also introduce new Ascendancy classes, unique items, supporting skills, changes in Towers, and useful improvements.
Path of Exile 2 is available in paid early access on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will become free with the release of the full version.
