STALKER 2 with important milestone. „A scope that is hard to comprehend, but it is real thanks to you”
The developers of the post-apocalyptic shooter STALKER 2 said how many people have played the game in just over three months since its release. The result is impressive.

GSC Game World studio announced that the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has already attracted 6 million players on PC and Xbox Series X and S. This is an excellent result, considering that only three months have passed since the release of this post-apocalyptic shooter on February 20.
[…] Six million! A scope that is hard to comprehend, but it is real thanks to you. We are incredibly grateful and proud that each of you has left a unique mark in the Zone. Good hunting, stalkers!
Undoubtedly, a large part of this success is due to the presence of the game in PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, let's remember that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl launched less than two days ago and has already sold a million copies. At that time, the developers stated that "this is merely the start of an unforgettable journey."
On Steam, at the best times of each day, several or tens of thousands of people are simultaneously playing GSC Game World's title. The activity record is 121,335 players.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has 82% positive reviews on Steam from nearly 108,000 players. This result has slightly improved since the release, when it was 76%. This is even more interesting because players are aware of the bugs affecting the title—there are fewer now than at the beginning, but they still happen—yet they continue to praise it, hoping that GSC Game World will eventually fix everything. This is happening, although the community wishes the developer would release the upcoming updates a little more quickly. So far in 2025, two have been released, one small and one major.
