STALKER 2 on New Gameplay; Release Date Confirmed

GSC Game World has just released a new gameplay trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and confirmed the game's release date.

As announcement, studio GSC Game World presented a new gameplay trailer from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The footage was published on IGN's YouTube channel. You can watch it below.

The video doesn't show too much - outlines the plot of the game, gives a glimpse of the equipment or a look at the shooting mechanics. Most importantly, however, by releasing the above gameplay trailer, GSC Game World has confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released in 2023.

This is significant because there has been a lot of talk in recent months about development problems. The developer had to deny rumors that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was not due to be released until 2025. So if anyone was nevertheless convinced that the game would suffer another delay then the material should reassure them a bit.

As a reminder, let me add that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X and S. The title will also be available on PC/Xbox Game Pass from the same day.
