Starfield Will Come in 3 Editions; Prices Leaked

We probably learned the price of Starfield. It's a good thing the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass, because Bethesda is expected to charge a hefty price for it.

Xbox Games Showcase will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. CET / 10 a.m. PST. In turn, immediately after it, we are expecting Starfield Direct - the showcase of Bethesda, devoted exclusively to this space RPG. It is likely that different versions of the game and their prices will be announced at the show.

That's suggested by billbil-kun - an almost infallible industry insider whose reports frequently appear on Dealabs.com. As per his usual custom, he has already given the names of the different editions and their cost in euros. They look as follows:

  1. standard edition of Starfield is expected to cost 69.99 euros on PC and 79.99 euros on XSX/S;
  2. billbil-kun was unable to confirm prices of the Premium Edition - however, he estimated that it would be about 104.99 euros for the PC edition and 114.99 euros for the console edition;
  3. Constellation Edition - rumored to be simply a "collector's edition," meanwhile, is expected to cost €299.99 on PC and XSX/S.

Unfortunately, billbil-kun was unable to specify the contents of the individual editions. Instead, he indicated that pre-orders for Starfield are likely to begin on Sunday, so we'll probably also find out what Bethesda will try to encourage us with to pay extra.

The latter may be all the more difficult, since upon release - scheduled for September 6 - Starfield will hit the PC/Xbox Game Pass service. As for platforms, the game will come out on PC and XSX/S.
