Hundreds of Demos for 7 Days - Steam Next Festival is Coming
In just 10 days, the next Steam Next Fest will begin, where gamers will be able to try out hundreds of game demos for a week.
If you are thirsty for demo versions of video games, Steam will soon come to your rescue. Between February 21 and 28 you will be able to try out hundreds of demos on Valve's platform as part of the next edition of Steam Next Festival.
Demos and more
The demos are not all. As part of the event, developers will also host broadcasts, the main purpose of which will be to present games and interact with fans.
- For developers, this is an ideal opportunity to interest players in their games and make them wait for the release of full versions.
- All demos released as part of Steam Next Fest will be available to the community completely free of charge.

What demos will be offered?
In the announcement, which appeared on Steam's channel on YouTube, several games were presented, the demo versions of which we will be able to download.
- NeoDash - an indie action racing game with futuristic visuals reminiscent of Cyberpunk. The game also features an impressive soundtrack.
- 8-Bit Adventures 2 - the game, just like the prequel released a few years ago, draws inspiration from classic jRPG games for the NES, SNES and PlayStation consoles.
- Occupy Mars: The Game - survival game, in which the main task of the player is the exploration and colonization of the title planet. Not to mention staying alive, of course.
- Oaken - a tactical, turn-based rougelike with card game elements. The player discovers the story by fighting battles on randomly generated maps with hexes.
- Dashpong - in case of this game the name speaks for itself. It is a revamped version of the classic arcade game.
- Mago - 2D retro adventure platformer. We follow in the footsteps of a magician, who has to save a princess from trouble.
- Fist of the Forgotten - a 2.5D arcade action game in which the main hero traverses a dark world full of various opponents.
- ABRISS - a puzzle game, in which the player builds structures that can destroy other structures.
- BlasterBeat - an independent production that combines elements of shooters and rhythm games.
- Hero's Hour - a turn-based RPG game with 8-bit visuals, in which battles are fought in real time.
- Elsie - an indie action platformer with rougelike elements such as permadeath and randomly generated levels after each defeat.
- Kick Bastards - an arcade parkour game with kicks as the main movement mechanic.
The next edition of Steam Next Fest
In addition to the announcement of the upcoming event, the documentation made available to Steam partners also contains information about the next iteration of the festival. The next festival of demos will take place already in June this year. So if you will not participate in the February edition, you will make up for it soon.
