Dead by Daylight fans have taken up the fight for the return of Stranger Things DLC. A special petition appeared on the Internet, which very quickly gained popularity.

Launch of Stranger Things' new season has widely echoed on the Internet. The show was also remembered by the Dead by Daylight community, which wants the return of the pulled DLC based on the motives from the show. There is even a special petition, which calls for the return of the DLC.
Stranger Things withdrawal from Dead by Daylight
Dead by Daylight was enriched with the DLC based on Stranger Things in 2019. It introduced a new assassin - Demogorgon - and two survivors: Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington. Additionally, the game featured a map called Hawkins National Laboratory.
However, the license expired two years later and in November 2021 the DLC was pulled from sale. Those who purchased it still have the characters from the series, but the map was removed from the game entirely. It was not revealed at the time what the reasons were for the license expiration were and whether there was any chance of its renewal.
Fan petition to bring Stranger Things back to Dead by Daylight
Launch of Stranger Things Season 4 reminded people about the show again, including the community of Dead by Daylight, among whom there were voices for restoring its license to the game. A petition dedicated to this topic was founded by an online creator known as Schmuckles. It quickly gained great popularity and over 15,000 people signed it in just two days.
At this point it is difficult to say whether the action will have any effect. We can only hope that Stranger Things will return to Dead by Daylight.
