Three More Take-Two Games to be Refreshed in 2022

Take-Two will refresh three previously unmentioned titles in 2022. Whether they will be remasters, remakes, or next-gen versions remains to be seen.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Take-Two plans to release refreshed versions of three well-known titles in 2022;
  • For now, it is not known which titles are in question;
  • The company also plans to release four major titles, one of which is still undisclosed.

The latest financial report published by Take-Two provided us with some interesting information. One of the slides revealed corporation's plans for 2022. Among them, we can find refreshed versions of three previously released titles, numerous mobile games, and a mysterious project from 2K.

Unfortunately, the company didn't reveal much more about said games. We can't say whether the returning titles will be remakes, remasters, or next-gen versions of games we already know. It's also not been announced which studios are responsible for them, which could make the speculation easier. However, it is likely that one of them will be Red Dead Redemption 2, which is a relatively new title and sooner or later certainly will be coming to current-gen consoles. The game would thus meet the same fate as GTA 5 and Kerbal Space Program. Speculation on the other two titles is much more difficult. The range of franchises owned by Take-Two is very broad.

However, this is not the only information that appeared in the report. The company also mentioned new large games that will launch in 2022. Among them we can find NBA 2K22, WWE 2K22 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. The report also mentions a fourth title that 2K is responsible for, but for now, it hasn't been revealed what game it is. Take-Two will also release ten mobile games, all of which will be free-to-play. In addition to these, the list also includes the indie game OlliOlli World from Private Division. So it looks like Take-Two is preparing a lot of releases for the players in the coming year.
